You will join the growing Advocacy Practice at SEEK and help us shape a growing field of work across different sectoral areas, including global health, agriculture, climate adaptation, gender equality, and education. Through rigorous analysis and strategic thought-leadership (Senior) Consultant - Advocacy / Resource Mobilization (D/F/M) you will support our clients in identifying innovative and sustainable ways of financing some of the most pressing topics of our time and help them shape political agendas for their issues. This role allows you to specialise in the area of Advocacy / Resource Mobilisation while working on diverse client projects and in a fast-changing environment. 


  • Shaping our growing advocacy and resource mobilization practice  
  • Managing (small) projects or large workstreams in the area of strategic advocacy and resource mobilization with ownership of client relationships  
  • Leading and developing junior team members  
  • Broadening SEEK’s understanding of the advocacy domain by translating recent developments and debates into new offerings and products for SEEK 
  • Identifying opportunities for business development, contributing to proposal development, investing in network building and acquisition of future clients and partners 
You are passionate about social impact and want to put your consulting skills to work in the field of global development and particularly development finance and advocacy. Strategic, collaborative, and curious, you effectively utilize the power of innovative analyses and enjoy working in teams that drive the delivery of innovative solutions and look at challenges from a holistic perspective. You have first-hand experience in managing multi-stakeholder processes to mobilize collective action. You are a committed self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong qualifications.  


  • You have graduated with a Master’s degree in a relevant field 
  • You have gained working experience with international organizations / NGOs or in an external affairs agency, ideally with experience in campaigning or communications   
  • You bring a strong track record of accomplishments in working on strategy development for resource mobilization / advocacy as well as donor / funder engagement 
  • You have experience managing projects, ideally applied in a consulting-like environment 
  • You deeply understand the development sector and how advocacy works in that space 
  • You bring excellent analytical, writing and research skills 
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus 
  • You excel with PowerPoint and present your work results in a confident manner 
  • You know how to manage yourself und love to collaborate with your team members 
  • You have established an active network within the sector
